Traditionally dedicated to manual report generation, the advisors found their capacity to engage in deeper, more impactful energy consultations limited. Recognizing the need for a transformative solution, Hellemans Consultancy aimed to redefine their approach to report generation, thereby freeing up their experts to focus on delivering higher-value energy efficiency analyses and advice.
The solution
Heroes stepped in with a solution as innovative as it was necessary. We developed a fully Azure-based system that automated the entire EBS report generation process. This system curated sensor data, produced relevant graphs, and performed business rule calculations using Databricks. The real game-changer was the integration of GPT-4, which we employed to generate personalized energy-saving advice, encapsulating relevant metrics directly from the buildings' sensor data. This smart analysis function is seamlessly integrated into EnergyPanel, Hellemans Consultancy’s energy monitoring system and Building Insight, which is Unica’s energy monitoring system.

The impact was immediate. Unica and Hellemans Consultancy are transitioning from a manual, time-consuming report generation process to an automated, efficient system capable of producing a comprehensive EBS report with a simple API call.
